Unity Church of Dallas led Timebank
In Unity Exchange Time Bank is one of many opportunities provided by Unity Church of Dallas to serve and get to know your fellow congregants. By receiving services you will also have the opportunity to reciprocate with your services. We believe it strengthens our church community, one hour at a time. The organization facilitates exchanges by allowing members to see services that are requested and those that are offered and a way to broker the service. A Time Dollar is a based on an exchange of work and different skills. In Unity Exchange values everyone's talents and acknowledges that everyone has something to give and can become involved in a network of exchange. Each person's hour of work is traded in equal exchange with the next person's, though their talents and what they enjoy doing will vary. Time Dollars reward those who support their neighbors and their neighborhoods by giving them a time dollar for each hour of work put in.
